Dr. Fanny González
Board-Certified Pediatric Nephrologist
Dr. Fanny González is a Board-Certified Pediatric Nephrologist, born in Habana, Cuba and moved to Miami, Florida at the age of five. Dr. Fanny González grew up in South Florida and attended Coral Gables Sr. High School where she then continued her studies at the University of Miami where she majored in Microbiology & Immunology with a minor in Chemistry.
Dr. González moved to Puerto Rico where she attended Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Dr. González returned to Miami where she graduated from Miami Children’s Hospital (currently Nicklaus Children’s Hospital) Residency before moving to Boston, MA where she earned her Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship degree from Boston Children’s Hospital Harvard School of Medicine. Prior to moving back to Miami, FL and opening her private practice, Dr. González was Assistant Professor at Monroe Carrell Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt University for two years.
Dr. Fanny González is married and is blessed with one daughter. In her spare time, Dr. González loves traveling, dancing, baking, playing piano, running and spending time with her family.
