We perform the majority of surgeries as an outpatient at Broward Specialty Surgical Center where we have access to both Holmium-laser technology as well as Extracorporal Shockwave Lithotripsy (ESWL). In addition, we are able to transport these modalities to any one of the Memorial Hospitals for those patients requiring inpatient treatment. We also perform “metabolic workups” on all stone-formers in an attempt to prevent recurrent stone formation.
