Google “low testosterone” and many pages of signs and symptoms will be revealed, some of most of which may apply to you! These symptoms span the gamut of human disease that can affect one’s health from head to toe. Testosterone levels “peak” during adolescence and early adulthood and then begin declining, sometimes rapidly, depending on one’s state of health. Replacing testosterone to normal levels will eliminate “low T” and the manifestations that arise from this condition.

We offer a number of Urological Pain Therapy treatments and are committed to helping our patients explore techniques to provide relief.

Peyronie’s Disease is caused by scar tissue within the penis. It manifests itself by causing a bent penis with an erection which can be painful at times and may even preclude the ability to perform intercourse.

Using revolutionary PRP injections and other effective methods, we’re able to help treat and reverse many aspects of vaginal aging.

Prostatitis is caused by inflammation of the prostate gland. This condition can cause pain and inability to adequately urinate, as well as increased potential for a bladder infection.

We treat and diagnose cancers of the bladder, testicular, prostate, ureter and kidney.

BPH is due to prostatic enlargement and, like grey hair or balding, is a fact of life. This condition can be treated both medically or surgically. Most surgical procedures are minimally invasive and can be office-based or performed as an outpatient in a surgical center.

Hematura is defined as an inappropriate amount of blood cells in the urine and can be due to an array of urological conditions which in most cases can be easily diagnosed.

Prostate Surgery

Aquablation therapy is the newest type of treatment for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). It’s an advanced, minimally invasive treatment that uses the power of water delivered with robotic precision to provide long-lasting BPH relief without compromise. It is precise, consistent, and predictable, and provides long-term relief no matter how large your prostate is.

The AQUABEAM Robotic System is intended for the resection and removal of prostate tissue in males suffering from lower urinary tract symptoms due to benign prostatic hyperplasia. The AQUABEAM Robotic System utilizes a high-velocity sterile saline waterjet to ablate prostate tissue during a minimally invasive surgical procedure called Aquablation therapy.

Treatment with the UroLift® System is typically a one-time, in-office solution that provides rapid relief and recovery for men living with symptoms of an enlarged prostate. It breaks the cycle of medications and how they make a person feel, all without the risks of traditional surgery. The goal of the UroLift System treatment is to relieve symptoms so you can get back to your life and resume your daily activities.

The UroLift System treatment has demonstrated a significant improvement in the quality of life for patients compared to medications. The UroLift System is the only BPH procedure shown not to cause new and lasting erectile or ejaculatory dysfunction*, while being a safe and effective treatment of lower urinary tract symptoms due to BPH.

The UroLift System uses a revolutionary approach to treating BPH that lifts and holds the enlarged prostate tissue so it no longer blocks the urethra. It is the only BPH treatment performed by a urologist that does not require heating, cutting, or removal of the prostate tissue. The procedure is typically performed using local anesthesia in a physician’s office or ambulatory surgery center. Patients typically return home the same day without a catheter.

This is an outpatient procedure under anesthesia and is usually performed at a surgical center or hospital’s operating room both as an outpatient and inpatient. This technique uses laser technology to remove your overgrown prostate tissue which rapidly restores the natural flow of urine often within 24 hours. This is a good option if you’re on blood thinners or have an implanted pacemaker, defibrillator or neurostimulator. This therapy does not require that you stop any blood thinners, which lowers the potential for a stroke or heart attack if you did.

Sterile water vapor is released throughout the targeted prostate tissue over a 10-15-minute period depending on the size of your prostate. This can be done under local anesthesia in an office setting or as an outpatient at a surgical center under twilight anesthesia. Over time, your body’s natural healing response absorbs the treated issue thereby shrinking the prostate and opening-up the prostatic urethra which, in turn, allows you to void with significantly improved pressure which then reduces urinary frequency including throughout sleep.

As compared to a conventional TURP which shaves off prostate tissue with an electrified loop, this technique gently vaporizes the obstructive gland with a small electrode. Using low-voltage energy, a plasma field is created which easily vaporizes all obstructive tissue and cauterizes all potential blood vessels, minimizing any blood loss.
