Kate has a passion for educating her patients as well as her peers. She pursued a Master’s of Arts in Health Education in order to understand how to effectively educate the patients she serves. Kate also loves teaching the next generation of healthcare providers and became a Certified Nurse Educator in order to give high quality education to her students and peers in a positive and safe learning environment.

Kate has over a decade of schooling and thousands of hours of clinical training. She is passionate about giving all patients and their loved ones, high quality, evidenced based care through collaboration and mutual respect.  She believes in physiologic childbirth and views it as an honor and privilege to be allowed into such an intimate time in your life. She is committed to supporting you in making your birth everything you’d like it to be.

You can find Kate in our office or roaming the halls of Sarasota Memorial Hospital, waiting for your bundle of joy to arrive! When Kate is not with us you can find her spending time with her family, her dogs Brady and Buck, or tending to her garden.
