Nicole Darby Ramirez, CNM, ARNP

Nicole Darby Ramirez is a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) and Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) with more than 15 years of experience in nursing and women’s health.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology, with a focus in pre-professional studies, from Florida Atlantic University, followed by a second bachelor’s degree in nursing from South University. Nicole spent 10 years working as a registered nurse, including seven years in labor and delivery, before earning her Master of Science in Nurse Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University, where she graduated with high honors.

Nicole has practiced as a Certified Nurse Midwife for five years and is an active member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives.

She is passionate about women’s health and empowering women through every stage of life. Her areas of interest include gynecology, PCOS/PMOS, family planning and contraception, preconception counseling, perimenopause, labor and birth support, breastfeeding, and postpartum care.

Nicole believes every woman deserves individualized, evidence-based care that respects her goals, values, and autonomy. She prioritizes patient safety, informed decision-making, shared decision-making, and creating a supportive environment where patients feel heard and empowered.

As a midwife, Nicole is a strong advocate for physiologic birth while also recognizing the importance of collaborative, hospital-based care when intervention is needed. She believes every pregnancy and birth experience is unique and strives to create meaningful, memorable experiences for women and their families.

Nicole is VBAC-friendly and fluent in Spanish.
