Gene Krishingner, Jr., MD, is a board-certified OB/GYN with more than 20 years of experience providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care. Joining the team at Volusia OB/GYN in Port Orange, Florida, Dr. Krishingner brings extensive experience in women’s health, pregnancy care, gynecologic surgery, and minimally invasive procedures.
Dr. Krishingner, known by many of his patients as “Dr. K,” completed a surgical internship at Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii before completing his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Throughout his career, Dr. K has cared for women through all stages of life. His clinical interests include obstetrics, general gynecology, infertility care, office-based gynecologic procedures, and minimally invasive surgery, including laparoscopic and robotic techniques. Over the course of his career, he has delivered more than 4,000 babies and performed hundreds of gynecologic surgeries.
Dr. K believes high-quality women’s healthcare should combine modern medical and surgical options with compassionate, individualized care. Whether helping a patient through pregnancy and childbirth or providing treatment for a gynecologic condition that has affected her quality of life, he considers the opportunity to care for his patients both a privilege and an honor.
In addition to traditional obstetric and gynecologic care, Dr. K has developed a strong interest in hormone care, women’s wellness, aesthetics, and healthy aging. His approach emphasizes helping women feel their best while addressing their individual health needs and goals.
At Volusia OB/GYN, Dr. Krishingner provides care alongside a team offering comprehensive gynecology, obstetrics, and surgical services for women throughout Port Orange, Daytona Beach, and surrounding Volusia County communities.
Outside of medicine, Dr. K enjoys spending time with his children and grandchildren. His hobbies include water skiing, snow skiing, hiking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
