Carithers is officially a pediatric site for Reach Out and Read!

As your medical home, we want to partner with you in encouraging language-rich interactions with your child.  Multiple studies show the positive benefits of reading to your child; including better recognition of sounds/letters, wider range of vocabulary, increased listening skills and opportunities to bond.

In order to support this, your child will receive a new book at every well check visit from 2 months-5 years old!  We are so excited to be a part of this opportunity to help nurture the love of reading with your child.
