Dr. Toussaint’s medical journey began in his native Cap-Haïtien, Haiti, where he earned his medical degree with honors from the prestigious Université d’État d’Haïti. After serving as Chief Resident and practicing as an OB/GYN in Haiti, he relocated to the United States to complete his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Nassau University Medical Center in New York.
Driven by a passion for advanced surgical techniques, Dr. Toussaint pursued a highly competitive post-graduate fellowship in Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery at the renowned Nezhat Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia. There, he trained directly under Dr. Ceana Nezhat, an internationally recognized pioneer and world leader in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.
Following his fellowship, Dr. Toussaint was recruited as a Clinical Instructor for the University of Illinois School of Medicine, where he taught minimally invasive surgery, pelvic reconstructive surgery, and urogynecology. Today, he brings this academic rigor and world-class surgical skill to his patients in Florida, offering advanced treatments for complex gynecologic conditions.

He has authored and co-authored peer-reviewed research on topics including uterine adenosarcomas, abnormal vaginal bleeding, and disorders of the vagina and vulva. His work has been presented at leading medical conferences across the United States, including Washington D.C., Las Vegas, Denver, and Hollywood, Florida.
