Dr. Carlos Sarduy
Doctor Sarduy was born in Cuba and immigrated at age 5 to New Jersey with his family. Upon graduating from high school as Salutatorian, he attended Columbia College in New York for his undergraduate education.
After completing his premedical education with honors, Dr. Sarduy enrolled at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where he received his medical degree in 1991. Dr. Sarduy pursued his post-graduate education through Residency at Saint Michael’s Medical Center, Seton Hall University School of Graduate Medical Education, graduating in 1995 as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist. After 2 1/2 years as a Full Time Faculty Attending at Seton Hall University School of Graduate Medical Education, Dr. Sarduy relocated to South Florida in 1998 and entered private practice.
Dr. Sarduy is a Board Certified Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and an active member of the Memorial Hospital Miramar staff. He enjoys practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology both in the office as well as in the hospital setting. Dr. Sarduy is skilled in minimally invasive surgery including robotic surgery with the DaVinci system. He has been honored with the Patient’s Choice Award, as well as being recognized as one of America’s Most Compassionate Doctors.
He is married to Ileana since 1993 and has three children. In his spare time, he coaches his son’s baseball team and enjoys all spectator sports, being a longtime season ticket holder for the Heat and Dolphins.
