Dr. Brandon Behjatnia is a women’s imaging radiologist and the Medical Director of Pembroke Pink Imaging, Broward county’s premier women’s imaging center.

After receiving a master’s degree in physical therapy from Loma Linda University in California, he attended Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California for his medical education. He completed his diagnostic radiology residency at Michigan State University, where he served as a Chief Resident. He then completed his fellowship in women’s imaging at Henry Ford Hospital in affiliation with Wayne State University with dedicated training in both breast and body imaging.

His primary research studies and publications are on breast cancer screening controversies and impact of COVID-19 on breast imaging. He served as Chairman of the American Osteopathic College of Radiology (AOCR) Breast Imaging Committee, for which he received the AOCR medallion, and the Committee on Governmental Affairs. He also served as a committee member on the AOCR Young Physicians Committee. He has presented multiple breast and pelvic imaging lectures at AOCR national conventions and webinars, Florida Osteopathic Medical Association, Michigan Radiological Society, Michigan State University, Florida International University, and the Osler Institute Board Reviews. He is a contributing author for the book “Breast Imaging: A Core Review.”

He is the Breast Radiology Subspecialty Chief for the diagnostic radiology residency program at Larkin Hospital in Miami, Florida, and a Clinical Assistant Professor at Nova Southeastern University and Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is an active member of the American College of Radiology, American Osteopathic College of Radiology, American Osteopathic Association, Society of Breast Imaging, Florida Radiological Society, and Florida Osteopathic Medical Association.

He joined our group in 2013 and has headed the extensive imaging services and top-of-the line care for women’s health at Pembroke Pink Imaging since 2014. Dr. Behjatnia believes in a personalized approach to breast care. His philosophy on care is to offer his patients the highest order of integrity, compassion, respect, and excellence in a timely manner, working to diagnose and defeat breast cancer at the pre-invasion stage.
