Abby Sapp, DNP, APRN

Abby Sapp is a board certified pediatric nurse practitioner and certified asthma educator. She completed her undergraduate nursing degree at the University of North Florida and worked as a bedside nurse at Wolfson Children’s Hospital while pursuing a graduate degree in advanced practice nursing. She graduated with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Florida in 2019 and practiced locally before joining the Carithers Pediatric Group in October 2021. She loves working with kids and families to build a foundation of healthy habits and empowering them with the knowledge and skills to manage chronic conditions like asthma.

Abby and her husband are high school sweethearts and recently joined the ranks of parenthood, welcoming their son in 2021. As an amateur oboist and Douglas Anderson alumni, she also enjoys tapping into her creative side and supporting the arts. In her free time, Abby enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, cooking, quality time with family and friends, and neighborhood strolls with her Italian Greyhound, Piper.
