Women’s health is my passion. As a gynecologist, I treat and empower women throughout their lives. It’s both my responsibility and my privilege to advocate for their health and wellbeing.
Born in Miami, Dr. Natalia Echeverri earned her medical degree from Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University in Miami. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Miami /Jackson Memorial Hospital and worked for three years in private practice before joining South Miami OB-GYN Associates in 2022.
During her residency, Dr. Echeverri was the recipient of numerous awards, including the Society of Laparoscopic & Robotic Surgeons (SLS) Outstanding MIS Resident Award, and the John Ford Award, annually presented to the resident who has shown outstanding performance in gynecology during the course of training.
A dedicated researcher and educator, Dr. Echeverri has been the first author of numerous publications and is currently a faculty member at her alma mater, Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at FIU. She also coordinated and lead the biannual suture workshop for the University of Miami medical students, organized an annual wellness event for the OB-GYN residents, and created a program for treating partners of female patients with STDs at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Echeverri is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
