Being an OB-GYN is an honor as I am able to be part of the most intimate moments of my patients’ lives.
Born in Miami, Dr. Xiomara Martinez earned her medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine, Gainesville, FL. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in New York and joined South Miami OB-GYN Associates on September 11, 2020.
During her residency, Dr. Martinez was the recipient of the Resident Teaching Award in 2018 and served as Chief Resident from 2019-2020.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Martinez is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and certified in the Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery.
