Dr. Jenny Valencia is a board-certified pediatrician and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP) dedicated to providing compassionate, attentive care for children and their families in Plantation, FL. With a background in both pediatric emergency medicine and primary care, Dr. Valencia brings a well-rounded perspective to every visit. Dr. Valencia earned her medical degree from Universidad Libre de Cali in Colombia and completed her pediatric residency at Woodhull Hospital, an NYU affiliate. She has also conducted research with the University of Miami and Jackson Memorial Hospital. After completing her residency, Dr. Valencia worked in pediatric emergency medicine in Miami-Dade and Palm Beach Counties before transitioning to primary care in Coconut Creek. Her experience caring for children in emergency settings, combined with her primary care background, gives her a comprehensive perspective on children’s health.

Dr. Valencia is fluent in English and Spanish, and is passionate about supporting children’s healthy development while providing families with thoughtful, compassionate care.
