What is micropigmentation?

Micropigmentation is the process of embedding organic pigments beneath the skin, either by hand or using a machine, to enhance the appearance for cosmetic or medical reasons. The procedure is also often known as permanent makeup or cosmetic tattooing. Micropigmentation can cover scars, simulate natural hair, reconstruct nipples or areolae, and more.

3-D Nipple and Areola Tattooing

The loss of the nipple or areola to breast surgery can be hard on a woman’s confidence and self-image. Using micropigmentation, Esther can create a realistic, three-dimensional reproduction of the nipple and areola in women who have undergone mastectomy or breast reconstruction surgery. This procedure may be covered by insurance.

Scar Camouflage

Micropigmentation can be used to minimize the appearance of scars – including surgical scars, facelift scars, and birth defects.

Hair Simulation

Hair Stroke Technique: Using tiny, precise strokes, Esther can create and shape realistic, natural looking eyebrows that simulate real hair. Patients with alopecia, who may have no natural brows at all, are excellent candidates for this procedure.

Microneedling

Microneedling is a technique used to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, using tiny needles to stimulate the production of your own natural collagen.
