What is the status of the contract renewal between Aetna and our practice?

So far, we have not been able to reach an agreement with Aetna. We are hopeful that Aetna will see the value that we bring to patients in order to avoid a full termination of the contract effective November 30, 2023.

I have an appointment scheduled with my doctor after November 15, 2020. What should I do?

Please contact your physician’s office to see if you are eligible for continuity of care. If you are not eligible to obtain continuity of care, then your out-of-network benefit rates would apply.

Who is eligible for continuity of care?

Any active course of treatment for a condition shall continue to be covered upon completion of a continuity of care form by your office. If you have initiated a course of prenatal care, regardless trimester in which care was initiated, you are allowed to continue coverage for such care until completion of postpartum care.

What other insurance carriers does your practice accept?

Please call your physician’s office to confirm coverage with other insurance carriers.
