A native of Lima, Peru, Dr. Jaime Mercado is a board-certified OB/GYN and a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He earned his medical degree in Peru and completed his internship and residency training in Maryland. Following his residency, Dr. Mercado moved to South Florida to start his practice.

Dr. Suescum offers compassionate care for women, providing excellent services in general obstetrics, gynecology with special interest in Laparoscopic Surgery, contraception and reproductive medicine.

Dr. Marion Colas-Lacombe is a board-certified OB/GYN practicing in Plantation, Florida at Essence OB/GYN.

Dr. Lazarus has been in practice since 2009. He is a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist. After finishing residency at the University of Connecticut he worked at a federally qualified health center in St. Louis. During this time, Dr. Lazarus spent 3 years gaining invaluable experience taking care of an underserved population. After that, his family moved to South Florida where he worked for 7 years at Broward Health Medical Center. While at Broward he was the medical director for Phoenix OBGYN, as well as the 3rd year clerkship director for medical students from both Nova University School of Medicine and FIU School of Medicine. In 2016 he was elected by his peers to serve as department chair in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Lazarus is married to his wife Jeanine (another OBGYN) and together they have 2 children. They have been living in South Florida since 2012.

Dr. Malik received his undergraduate degree in Health and Disease from the University of Toronto and went on to obtain his Medical Doctor degree from SABA University School of Medicine. He completed his training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Jackson Memorial Hospital – University of Miami, Florida. His professional interests include treatments for pelvic pain, fibroids and minimally invasive surgical therapies for gynecologic problems. Dr. Malik is very grateful for the opportunities he has benefited from during his training to become a physician. Dr. Malik has given back to the community through his efforts by answering patient concerns through a virtual platform that allows patients to reach physicians from the comfort of their home. He has been recognized for his patient outreach and education efforts and has been awarded “Most Influential Doctor”, “Top Obstetrican and Gynecologist” and “Thought leader” by Healthtap.com. His bedside manner, compassionate nature and ability to empathize with his patients are the qualities that his patients appreciate the most.

Doctor Idalia Talavera was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She completed her bachelor degree in Biology and medical degree in the University of Puerto Rico. During her residency years she was honored as teaching resident of the year and eretricshe was elected administrative chief resident.

Dr Camil Marrero was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She graduated from the University of Puerto Rico with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and before going to medical school, she completed a Master in Public Health. Dr Marrero completed her medical education at the Medical Sciences Campus in San Juan, Puerto Rico. During her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology she served as Chair and Vice Chair of the Junior Fellows of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr Marrero is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and an active staff in Plantation General Hospital and Westside Regional Hospital; with expertise in Minimally Invasive Laparoscopic Surgery including the Da Vinci Robotic System. Dr Marrero has a complete scope of knowledge in Obstetrics and Gynecology including cancer screening, vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, colposcopies, open and laparoscopic hysterectomies, open and laparoscopic myomectomies, STD testing, ectopic pregnancies, menopause symptoms, vaginal dryness, endometriosis and pelvic pain.
