Dr. Julie Manrique is a board certified radiologist who specializes in breast imaging. She completed her residency in radiology at Mount Sinai Medical Center where she also completed her fellowship in breast imaging. Dr. Manrique is a member of the Society of Breast Imaging. Born in Texas, Dr. Manrique spent most of her life there before moving to South Florida in 2010. In her spare time, Dr. Manrique enjoys spending time with her pets. She has a dog and a cat.
Dr. Fawwaz Salman is a board certified OB/GYN. Dr. Salman completed his fellowship in ultrasound at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital and is a member of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine. Dr. Salman is married and has two sons. In his free time, he breeds German Shepherd and Rottweiler dogs.
Dr. Carrie Horst is board certified in radiology. She completed her fellowship in breast imaging at the Mount Sinai Medical Center and is a member of the American College of Radiology and the Society of Breast Imaging. She now serves as the Medical Director and Director of Breast Imaging at the Diagnostic Center for Women. Dr. Horst is a member of the American Osteopathic Association iMentor program and also serves on the American Osteopathic College of Radiology Policy Review Committee.
Lynda H. Cabrero, DO specializes in breast imaging and diagnostic radiology. She is the member of many medical organizations including the Society of Breast Imaging, Radiological Society of North America, and the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association. Dr. Cabrero attended medical school at Nova Southeastern University, where she graduated in the top 15 of her class.
Dr. Michael Plaza is a radiologist, practicing in South Florida at the Diagnostic Center for Women. Dr. Plaza has been supported many professional organizations and community events during his career. These include Co-Chair of Share the Health Fair at Wake Forest University (2005-2006) and tutoring a grade-school child with the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization in Winston-Salem, North Carolina (2004-2005). He was also Vice President of the Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association at Wake Forest from 2005 to 2006.
Dr. Sara Fernandez joined the practice in September 2016. She went to the University of Florida College of Medicine for medical school and completed residency and fellowship at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville.
