Bridgewater Women Center is a private Obstetrics and Gynecology practice in Miramar, Florida. Since the practice opened in 2006, the goal has been to treat every patient like family. We have followed a strategy of patients first, providing the highest level of care, and easy communication.

Located in Miramar, Florida, Dr. Victor H. Cantero specializes in obstetrics and gynecology at Comprehensive Womens Center. He and his staff offer services ranging from yeast infection and UTI treatment, to managing conditions like endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and much more.

Dr. Jose Rivas is a 1999 graduate of the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara School of Medicine. In 2000, he completed an internship year at New York Medical College in Valhalla. In 2001, Dr. Rivas went on to complete his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Lukes Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania until 2004. During his training, Dr. Rivas received multiple awards including the Best Surgeon award throughout his four years of training. Dr. Rivas is proficient in advanced Laparoscopic pelvic surgery including Laparoscopic Hysterectomy. During his residency Dr. Rivas received additional training in urogynecology under the tutelage from Dr. Vincent Lucente, a renowned urogynecologist in the United States. Dr. Rivas’ special interest is in minimally invasive urogynecologic procedures as well as advanced pelvic surgery including vaginal hysterectomy and the latest techniques for incontinence and prolapse surgeries. Dr. Rivas also specializes in patients with high-risk pregnancies and is proficient in basic infertility. Dr. Rivas believes that every patient should be treated with respect and kindness. His bedside manner is described as comfortable and his personality is friendly. During your initial visit with Dr. Rivas you will be treated in a professional, gentle and compassionate manner. Dr. Rivas is Board Certified and he is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Rivas enjoys the outdoors, cycling, golf and photography as his personal hobbies. Dr. Rivas along with his wife Blanca and their two children reside in FL.

Dr. Lina M. Echavarria is an obstetrician-gynecologist in Miramar, Florida. She received her medical degree from Ponce School of Medicine and has been in practice for nearly a decade.

Dr. Jenny Arango-Longo was born and raised in Miami Florida. She attended the University of Central Florida in Orlando for her undergraduate education, graduating in 2002 with a bachelors degree in my group and molecular biology. She then pursued her post graduate studies at Ponce School of Medicine, where she received her medical degree in 2007.

Dr. Anamar Aponte was born and raised in San Juan, PR. She attended the University of PR for her undergraduate education, graduating in 2002 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Suma Cum Laude. She then pursued her graduate studies at the University of PR School of Medicine, where she received her medical degree in 2007, Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Aponte continued her post-graduate education through a Residency at the University District Hospital, University of PR, graduating in 2011 as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist.
