Outside of medicine, Dr. Yavagal is a loving wife and caring mother of two kids. She balances her home and work life well, keeping time to cook, read, and do activities with her family and friends. She also loves to travel and learn about different places throughout the world. In her local community, she spreads awareness to women about urinary incontinence and pelvic floor disorders. She has always loved education, and one of her passions is to educate others. While Dr. Yavagal is a hard-working physician, she makes sure that she has time to care for her family and friends alongside doing the other things she enjoys.

Dr. Alexandra N. Garcia is a native of Miami, Florida and is a bilingual, first-generation Cuban. She received her BS in Health Science from the University of Florida and her medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, graduating in 2017. She then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine/Jackson Memorial Hospital in 2021 and went on to pursue a three-year fellowship in Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery at the University of South Florida in Tampa, graduating in 2024.
