Dr. Garrote was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She attended the University of Florida, where she obtained a combined Bachelor of Science and Medical Degree as part of the Medical Honors Program. She then completed her pediatric residency at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
Born and raised in Virginia, Dr. Drew Stoudt earned his undergraduate and medical degrees in-state and completed his residency training in New York City.
Born and raised in Miami, Dr. Ernesto Erdmann is a board certified pediatrician. After attending Vanderbilt for his undergraduate studies, he returned to the University of Miami for medical school and residency.
Born in Havana, Dr. Joaquin Jimenez de Cardenas left Cuba at three years old and lived in New Jersey, Spain, and Venezuela. He earned his medical degree and completed part of his residency in Venezuela.
Dr. Rafael Llanso is a board-certified pediatrician. He has been practicing pediatrics since 1989. He also volunteered in a local homeless shelter medical clinic every Monday night for two years.
Born in Cuba, Dr. Efren Salinero came to the US in 1961 and has since lived mostly in South Florida. He is a board certified pediatrician and teaches general pediatrics to third and fourth year medical students.
Dr. Martha Toledo-Valido is a board-certified pediatrician who trained at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital. She is a mentor at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Gabriella Saca is a pediatrician who grew up in Miami, Florida. Dr. Saca is actively involved in patient advocacy, working on initiatives via the American Academy of Pediatrics to keep children safe from violence.
